Can I get CEs and how many? What is the cost?
VSOTA is recognized by the Virginia Board of Psychology as a professional association that can provide continuing education. This means that the Virginia Boards of Psychology, Social Work, and Counseling will recognize the continuing educational activities provided by VSOTA.
As part of VSOTA's commitment to providing relevant and quality continuing education and in appreciation of our attendees, there will be no additional fee for a continuing education certificate to document attendance at the 2026 Conference.
The VSOTA Board has approved up to a total of 11 clock hours (1.1 CEs) for the two-day conference. Session credit is only awarded if the participant attends at least 85% of the session. It is the ethical responsibility of each attendee to accept a certificate only if they attended a workshop and/or conference.
Conference certificates will be emailed following the conclusion of the conference. A separate certificate will be sent to those attending the Ethics presentation, which will provide attendees with specific ethics documentation.
VSOTA does not provide duplicate certificates. It is highly suggested that each attendee keep their certificate and workshop assignments together in the event they need to provide documentation to a licensing or certification board.
Will I get a certificate? How and when?
Conference completion certificates will be emailed to registered conference participants following the conclusion of the conference and completion of the overall conference evaluation.
A link to the evaluation will be emailed to you after the conference. The evaluation will also be available via the conference app. Evaluations must be completed by June 1, 2026.
Participants attending the Ethics presentation will receive a certificate of completion for that session via email following the conference.
Where is the conference being held?
This year's conference is being held at The Westin Richmond.
VSOTA has secured a nightly rate of $110 plus tax for those attending the conference.Â
Please visit the Annual Conference page for the link to the VSOTA room block.
I'm arriving the night before the conference starts. Can I check in to the conference then?
